Conversation between a monk and a mom

Humor me for a moment while we pretend to listen in on a conversation between a medieval monk, complete with frock and all, and a stay-at-home mom, complete with flip-flops and all.

 While I know this stretches beyond the confines of time and space and there is no feasible way that a monk and a modern mom would meet…  I would love for it to happen. Let’s blame it on the fact that I’ve been reading The Hawk and the Dove series lately.
