It had been decades since I was last at Presque Isle.... and I never remember Lake Erie looking so lovely!
We had a nice family day trip getaway to the beach last Friday. When we left NC we all were sad that we would be farther from the beach, but after visiting Presque Isle, we feel like we actually moved closer! This state park is only 1 hour and 15 minutes away, and it had all the fun and beauty of the ocean, but none of the sharks or jellyfish.
Afterwards we stopped at Wegmans for some yummy take-out dinner.... Our kids are definitely full-fledged 2nd-generation Wegmans fans.
We all can't wait to repeat this daytrip!
