Birthday/Family Christmas Extravaganza

Since our family was going to be in Ohio for Christmas this year, Dan and Amy invited the Wray clan over to their house on the 21st so we could have an early Christmas celebration... and since it just happened to be my birthday, they were kind enough to honor that as well.  :)

Dan set up his grilling apparatus at some ridiculously early (dark) time of the morning, and then apparently it consumed his time and attention so much all day that he had to come home from work to tend to it all.  Needless to say, the meat was VERY good.  And the jokes about Dan's butts were flying allllll day and night.

\After dinner Miles shared his trick with his magic Bible and Dan shared a devotional.  Then the cousins exchanged gifts and all chaos broke out.

The din escalated to a feverish pitch when Nonna and Poppa gave out their gifts to all the families and we all opened at once.... HOVERBOARDS!

Soon kids were wheeling and zooming all over the place.

Of course the fun continued well past the night.... The next morning I was awakened to find kids on hoverboards and stilts in my bedroom....
