'Tis the Season for Hosting

The month of December ended up being one of parties!  I don't remember having such an active Advent season in the past... so we tried to just enjoy every event.

First off, to get ourselves prepared and ready for the season, about 30 women from Redeemer came over for a time of reflection and fellowship.  My favorite part was the singing at the end.... so beautiful.

A few weeks later, it was time for the youth group to party it up.... It was a slightly different vibe.

In between, we had the School of Business faculty over for the annual Christmas party

... and we also had a few of Pete's students over for dinner one night (not pictured).  We always enjoy those dinners because most of the students who come are from other countries (don't GET us started on how international students are the ONLY ones who fully take advantage of what the university has to offer...)

We also enjoyed a few other smaller groups here for various things... friends, Gateway, game night, life group, etc.... I love having a full house -- especially in December!
