We enjoyed our annual party at the Rentsch Ranch.... They are always so generous to us! It was good to see the Pottles, too, who have moved away but were back for a visit.

And our daily routines even brought special blessings in the form of a new bakery in Waxhaw, and a new hawk who frequents our garden. The boys have named him Winger, and have seen him eat a snake!
