We introduced two new families to our traditions, and they jumped in enthusiastically!
After our Middle-Eastern dinner (Meghan even brought homemade traditional Moroccan bread!),
... Pete talked to the kids about the real St. Nicholas...
... and then we set out for some Candy Caning!
Unfortunately we were "caught" at 3 of the 4 houses.... we were not the most stealthy group this year.... losing our touch.... but everyone still had fun and the adrenaline was rushing!
And then, to everyone's great joy, St. Nicholas visited our house that night.
