Hocking Hills, Revisited

I always am astonished by the topography and geology of this park!  Even though it was below freezing, even I was eager to go walk there.

This year the treat was having the Amish hikers sing Amazing Grace in the grotto.

Thanksgiving

The Frank family gathered in Hocking Hills again this year, thanks to Laurie and Mike providing us with a large house.  We are grateful that most of the gang was able to make it.

Highlights included:  plenty of games, watercoloring, hiking, a dance party, and plenty of good food!

A milestone (height-stone)

Colsen has officially grown taller than I am, so in accordance with our neighbor's tradition, he was required to take me out to eat.  We chose Blackout Burger - -he paid, and loved it.  :)

The end of a great season

Colsen's soccer team wrapped up their season as Region Champs (which has only happened a handful of times in the school's history) and the District 10 Runner-Up in a heartbreaking, overtime loss.  They were excited to play in the State tournament.... alas, in the first round they had to play the team that ended up winning the whole state.  That team was very good, to say the least.

We are very proud of the team and it was a great season!

A beautiful day for a birthday!

For Colsen's 15th birthday he chose to play disc golf (shocking, really) at Moraine State Park, and the Boyers were able to join us.  It was the peak of fall!

Activities for Jinna

 Jinna's been getting around lately.

She's made dumplings with Mrs. Coulter:

She's made several art projects at Collage Coffee:

And she had a fun Halloween!
