For 15 weeks this season I have offered a weekly bread subscription service. People could sign up each month and then I would bring them one loaf of bread weekly, rotating among 4 different kinds (all sourdough).
It was quite life-giving for me for 3 reasons:
1.) I enjoyed making something each day.
2.) I did a lot of research on bread, wheat, and grain in the Bible and learned a lot. Each week I included a card with some of my thoughts.
3.) I got to see a lot of my friends each week. Sometimes the boys delivered the loaves on their bikes, and sometimes I did the deliveries. After I received my Mother's Day bike, it got WAY more fun!
