Goodbye, Austria

Yesterday we reluctantly left our wonderful house in Annaberg, Austria. We all agreed we’d had an almost perfect week in an almost perfect location. As a wrap up of that chapter of our trip, I’ll list, very unoriginally…

Our Top Ten Favorite Things about our Austria Week Not Already Mentioned in a Previous Blog-post!

1. Having a creek and long grassy hill right outside the house, which provided hours of fun for all. 

2. Getting to visit with a family of sheep on that hill. 

3. Amazing views from the decks.

4. Amazing views from even inside the house – windows everywhere!

5. Eating meals on the deck.

6. Hiking trails right outside the door – including one with bunches of hay figures along the way.

7. Plenty of beds for everyone – including bunk beds for the boys.

8. A nice big van to get us where we need to go.

9. Neighbor houses that look like this.

10. Gorgeous sunsets

We are very thankful for the chance to see beautiful, Alpine Austria. Now, our time in Bavaria, Germany has begun, and it looks to be amazing too…. Here are the views from our apartment here:
