A few things I am thankful for this week...
+ The view from the kitchen window getting more and more beautiful. Loving the cherry and apricot trees!
+ Seeing how Rayna hangs laundry on the clothesline:
+ Hearing Strider excited about the newsletters he's been making
+ Chris Rice's "Come to Jesus"song, and getting to hear it at church
+ Getting some much-needed solitude time
+ Getting some much-needed revelations concerning my pride
+ Seeds growing into plants in our garden
+ Overhearing this morning...
Miles (as he's going down the stairs): Colsen, I want to hold your hand.
Miles (as he's going down the stairs): Colsen, I want to hold your hand.
Colsen: Oh, you do? Ok.
+ Watching them walk downstairs hand-in-hand, this mother's heart melting
+ Enjoying the last nights of two footed-pj-clad boys (Will one be too old next year?)
+ Getting to celebrate 2 Easters... We are in the unusual situation of having just celebrated and sung "He is Risen" this past Sunday AND facing Good Friday tomorrow. Wondering if this means we can take 2 Easter breaks, too...
p.s. Week 13 marks the 1/4-mark of my Joy-journaling year, and I just listed # 359 in my notebook. God has sent many blessings... I look forward to seeing what the rest of the year brings!
Love the footie jammie pics! Both of mine still love to wear them so there is still hope for you for next year!
