Moldovan squirrels


We've been interested to see that these squirrels have longer, pointier ears than their American cousins, and are browner as well. 

That was the full extent of our observations. 

And no, I did not do the proper homeschooling mom thing and have us all sit down and pull out encyclopedias (or even, gasp, Wikipedia) to study the biological differences and historical significance of the squirrels.  We didn't even make an object lesson about the value of diversity or find any spiritual connection at all.

We just looked, noticed, and said, "Cool!"   The end.
