After all of the neighborhood festivities, we went up to my parents' house for the afternoon and evening. And I've finally gotten the pictures off my phone!

After dinner Nonna and Poppa wanted to infuse some patriotism into the next generation so we were all called to assemble for some festive music and videos, and a reading of the Declaration of Independence (excerpts).
Everyone sang along to the songs... this is the final note of, "And the home of the braaaaaaaaave:"
The Von Trapp Family Singers we are not.
But we are patriotic and we enjoyed celebrating our nation's birthday!
