Adventure day

Taking advantage of the beautiful weather and Pete's extra time in his schedule, we set out to do some more exploring around the city.  Our main goal was to do some geocaching..... and I'll skip to the punch-line on that to say that we failed to find the cache.  But the day was a fun adventure anyway!

After poking around the "art market" in the center of the city and buying some souvenirs, we went out to lunch at a cafe (where the highlight for the kids were the Fanta's).  Then we set off for the park where the geocache was hiding.

"We're going to find some treasure!"

Alas, we came to the bridge where it was supposed to be, but could not find it.  Before we had left the house, Rayna had decrypted the only clue we had (other than the GPS coordinates, which were not very helpful since we didn't have a GPS!), and the clue said to "Check the north side of the bridge."  We did for quite awhile, but to no avail.

We found a lot of fun sticks, though!

And we had a lovely walk with beautiful views.
(Notice the boys trying to vault themselves over)

All in all, a very nice way to spend a Monday!
