"Stripes and Dots" Party

This month it was our turn to host the quarterly TFC reunion/party, and when it came time to think of a theme, our conversation went like this:

Me:  So, we need to think of a theme for the TFC thing.  (really thinking:  "we get to to think of a theme!")
Pete:  Ugggghhhhh.....  Can't we just do "Luau, Part 2?
Me:  Thank you, Mr. Originality!   Actually, I was thinking of some ideas...  Like, we could do a Stripes and Dots party, where we...
Pete:  Ok - done.  Do that.

So, after that wonderful collaboration of ideas, that's what we ended up doing.

And it was fun!

We ended the evening with a big game of Capture The Flag.... which came to an abrupt end when Pete slammed into a tree really hard and got a big "stripe" right across his rib-cage.  (We were very glad it wasn't more serious than that!)  He won't let me take a picture of the bruised stripe though.  :)
