Meeting Titus

Our new little nephew/cousin was born on Wednesday! We've been eagerly awaiting his birth and were anxious to meet him. Pete, Miles and I went to the hospital a few nights ago to see the little guy, and Katie and Graham. (Strider and Rayna went the next day -- they thought it was a "party!") Titus and I have a lot to talk about already...

Miles is happy to see someone even smaller than him! These guys are going to be good buddies, I predict.

Titus rounds out the Wray boy cousins in good rhyming fashion: we now have Colsen and Branson, and Stri, Kai, Mi, and Ti!

Katie and Graham are clearly already fantastic parents. As with everything else, they have jumped into this new adventure with great enthusiasm. Even after having a very long, hard labor, and a c-section, they were both all smiles. In fact, I called them on Friday morning, after their 2nd night in the hospital, at which point I expected them to be rather bedraggled- - that's how I always felt at that point. But when I asked, "How did last night go?" Graham loudly proclaimed, "It was GREAT!" A sleepless night in the hospital with a newborn? Great?!? Like I said, these guys are some very enthusiastic -- and great! -- parents! Little Titus Patterson is a very blessed boy already.
