Garden Party

Yesterday all of the families involved in our community garden went out at the same time to get some work done, and hang out together.  Usually each family just goes when they can throughout the week, but this was a nice change!

 There were a LOT of weeds to pull!  So we got right to work!

 And we also planted lima beans, more tomato plants, and some more cucumbers.

 Things are coming along!  Can't wait to harvest more...

After we worked, we all gathered for a pot-luck dinner.

 And even the turkey came out to play.

It was a lovely spring evening!
