New Year's Day

These last couple of weeks we've been holed up inside, not doing much at all.  It's been rather weird.  But finally on Wednesday we ventured out to celebrate with family... and after a few hours of that we were ready to hole back up again for a couple days.  Not really -- it was a lot of fun...  just a LOT of everything.  Including cousins!

This isn't even all of them!
THIS is all of them... with one crying and being distracting

And this is all of them crying.
You know your family is large when you hear one of your children saying, "And who is THAT baby?"  (Strangely enough, that was Miles asking about baby Lincoln, who, theoretically anyway, he should see every week in church!)

We tried to have a Pickle Ball Tournament...
 ... but mostly it was a free-for-all.

Finally these two and I went inside to color.  Girls gotta stick together.
The boys had no trouble entertaining themselves.  There are lots of little boy heads running around when we get together!

So, another fun Wray Family Holiday in the books.  The thing that struck me the most was that in the midst of all this craziness, someone wrote "Spend more time with family" on our "Goals for 2104" poster!  And it looks an awful lot like my father's handwriting....  So maybe all the chaos is growing on him.  :)
