We "dug" down deep for this 4-year old's birthday party (not really)

Since Colsen likes all things having to do with digging, hammering (dinking in), wrenching, sawing, mowing, screwdrivering, weed-wacking, etc., we decided to have a party all based on tools and construction work for his 4th birthday.  And as it turned out, we really did NOT have to dig down deep after all -- it was the easiest party ever!  Since it was Colsen's first ever birthday party, it was also his favoritest party ever.  :)

Decorations were simple:
Activities were all design/build-related -- even the make-your-own-pizzas dinner:

And the CAKE was the easiest one EVER (and one of the most nutritious -- it had beets in it!):

We have a very happy birthday boy here!
