Our tri-state tour this weekend

Outside the car, we have had some fun adventures the last few days. On our way out of town on Friday, we spent a night with Nonna and Poppa, which we hadn't done in years, as a family, and it was very refreshing! Mom, as usual, made us some excellent food, and we all got to play with the rapidly growing puppy!

The next night we stayed at Uncle Pete and Aunt Lisa's house in PA, and the kids loved running around in their neighborhood, and playing with all their toys. It was a very nice place to visit, and we had an enjoyable time catching up with them.  And once again we were spoiled with some lovely food!  As always, Uncle Pete was full of good stories, and our kids loved hearing some funny things about Poppa when he was a boy.

Yesterday, we spent the day with the Boyers, going to their lively church, having a picnic, and playing together. Karen and I drove to Ligonier to take Strider and Nate for their big week of camp!

Driving in...
 Checking in...
 Trekking in...
We stayed for a little bit to get the boys settled in, but after they passed their initial swim test, we departed, leaving them for an exciting, adventurous, life-changing week, we hope!
After leaving them, we went back to Pittsburgh for a quick dinner, nicely already prepared for us (I could really get used to this others-cooking-dinner-for-me thing!), and then we set out for Ohio, arriving late last night.
We've been thankful to see so many people we love this past weekend -- and even more will be arriving here in the next couple of days.... Let the adventures continue!
