Dancing shoes

Since Rayna has always enjoyed her Praise Dance classes, I had been wanting to finally get her into some more traditional dance classes.  Last year she had a semester of "Modern" dance, which she enjoyed, and this year her teacher suggested that she try ballet and tap.  I was hesitant to sign her up, mainly because I didn't want to pay for all the new shoes!

BUT, Aunt Sue happened to give us some shoes that Krista used once years ago -- and they are just the right size for Rayna right now!  (The dance teachers showed us how to use hairbands instead of laces.) So now Rayna is shuffle-hop-stepping away in her new shoes, and taking a ballet-tap class at the studio nearby.  We're grateful for the lower-cost opportunity!

And Rayna isn't the only one who has been enjoying the new shoes.
The headband makes him look really professional.  :)
