After all 16 presentations, we divided into 2 different groups to make "All about me" books with the pictures. What a fun project... the kids all enjoyed getting to express themselves, I think.

First day of co-op
This year, Strider, Rayna and I have happily joined a co-op consisting of 5 other families from our church. Look at all the smiling, happy faces:
For our first day, we had all the kids bring pictures of themselves and things/people in their lives. Then the kids took turns presenting them to the whole group (and we moms took turns giving non-verbal and verbal cues to our offspring telling them to speed up!)
After all 16 presentations, we divided into 2 different groups to make "All about me" books with the pictures. What a fun project... the kids all enjoyed getting to express themselves, I think.

We're excited for the rest of the year with this group. On the docket for this Fall, we have science experiments, team-building problem-solving exercises, individual book reports, family presentations about Presidents and current events/new stories, and even a field trip to a news station. We're blessed to have these opportunities and these friends!
