We made plans to go ice skating at the rink outside our neighborhood with some friends this afternoon... but apparently so did everyone else on this side of the county. The place was PACKED. So we opted for Plan B (seems to be theme for us this month), and everyone came back to our house instead. We had homemade hot chocolate and the kids played some board games -- and then we all played a rousing round of the infamous Bowl Game.It was a less chilly, more cozy afternoon than we expected -- but tons of fun!

Maybe we'll try ice skating again next week.
