Back on the road/in the air again

Back at the airport again.... with considerably less luggage this time.

It felt like we had just landed at the Charlotte airport, but here we were again, preparing for take-off this morning!  This time we've traveled West, to Minnesota, for our nephew's wedding.

Thankfully the travel all went smoothly, despite a (ahem, quite old) child forgetting to put on shoes before he left the house and not realizing it until we were en route.

 In the last 2 weeks, our kids have apparently been catching every American virus they missed over the last 6 months, so a few of them now have colds (again).  We were nervous to travel with Rayna, since the last time she got a cold it turned into nasty pneumonia and we had to postpone traveling due to some complications. But she made it through the flight fine, and we're hoping she'll kick this bug soon.  (Please pray for that!)

We've arrived at the ever-bustling, ever-beautiful Bain abode, and it's been good to see everyone -- including the groom-to-be!  Krista took Strider and Colsen out this afternoon to get them well equipped for any security duties that might need to be performed at the reception, so all is good.

Many more family members arrive tomorrow as the festivities kick off.....
