First Day of Classical Conversations

All afternoon and evening the kids have been walking around singing, "Kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, species," or "Nominative, Subject, Genitive, Possessive, Dative..." or "2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14..." or "Timeline, this is my timeline..." ---  which is a pretty big clue to where we were this morning!

It's been a few years since we were in a CC community, and it was good to be back today.  This is a new group for us and our introduction was lovely!  We all met together outside for the first part of the day, singing "This is My Father's World" and the Doxology, saying the pledge, and learning the first timeline cards and song.

 Then everyone divided up for their various classes.

Rayna was super-excited to be a part of this.  She has vague recollections from her 2 years in the program several years ago, but now she's one of the big kids!
